Description
Students in this course will be taught how to classify blastocysts and learn the main requirements for embryos to reach this stage.
They will also learn how to use state-of-the-art incubators with time-lapse systems.
Goal
The aim of the course is to provide training in technical skills through a supervised practical training program in the setting of an assisted reproduction center.
Intended for
Specialized training is provided to embryologists who want to further their knowledge of embryo classification techniques, focusing on their morphology and kinetics in in vitro culture.
Where is it taught?
It is taught in the Reproduction Unit of the HLA Vistahermosa Hospital in Alicante, headquarters of the Chair of Reproductive Biomedicine UR Vistahermosa Clinic, of the UR Vistahermosa Clinical Reproductive Biomedicine Chair, where the Andrology, Embryology, Cryobiology and Genetics laboratories are located, which are equipped with the latest technology and the most advanced equipment available on the market.

All types of educational materials are provided (protocols, guides, and bibliography), and a wide variety of samples are available to train hands-on with each technique.
The training is individualized, with one instructor per student, and at the end of each course, two certificates will be awarded: one for attendance and another for achievement, endorsed by the Chair of Clinical Reproductive Biomedicine at UR Vistahermosa.
The content and dates of the courses may be modified depending on the personal needs of each student.
Students who did our Master’s program and want a refresher on any of the techniques we offer in the courses will receive a 10% discount.
Likewise, those who want to take more than one course will receive a 10% discount from the second.
